Dance On Screen ON TOUR

On the day of the finals, during the jury’s reunion, ISTTF is again spotlighting the genre dance film in cooperation with the Dance On Screen FilmFestival Graz. In Austria, dance film is primarily associated with the UNESCO City of Design Graz, where since 2016 Valentina Moar presents her annually event.

The festival offers an intensive program with film screenings, dance film workshops and awards and serves as a networking hub for Austrian and international dancers and filmmakers. In the 2016-2024 editions, the festival screened over 400 international dance films in Graz, and Dance On Screen also sets impulses for dance film in Europe throughout the year: guest film screenings and festival collaborations have so far taken place in Greece, Spain, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Portugal and other Austrian federal states. The next edition, the 10th anniversary of Dance On Screen will be held in November 2025 in Graz.

For the screening in Stuttgart Valentina Moar prepared a selection of dance films which correspond to ISTTF’s focus – solo works.
